A long, long time ago a young lady walked through the forest, the hem of her skirts just barely grazing the forest floor. The sun setting behind her as she followed the directions being given to her by the forest itself.
Coming to a clearing, the pull toward it's centre undeniable she found herself face to face with 4 winged tiger cubs, the oldest standing protectively infront of the younger three. Tilting her head curiously, she transformed into her true form and slowly lay on her tummy infront of them, never breaking eye contact. She smiled softly as she extended one arm towards them, leaving it palm up on the ground close to but not touching them.
She waited until the oldest, at the little whines from his younger siblings, stepped forward and cautiously sniffed her hand, before nuzzling against it with a quiet purr. The others followed right after, bonding to her almost instantly.
They've been inseparable ever since.
